Where is my activation code?

To activate your product in Nero Start, not all users need an activation code.

If you purchased Nero products through 2CheckOut or the official Nero website:

If you purchased Nero products through 2CheckOut or the official Nero website, you'll receive an email with a link to download the product and a password for your account.

To activate your purchased product after installation, open Nero Start and log into your account using the default password.

There is no need for you to enter an activation code because the product you purchased is already linked to your account.

All Nero products will be available for use after you log into Nero Start with your account.

If you purchased Nero products from 3rd party resellers or retailers of Nero:

If you purchased Nero products from 3rd party resellers or retailers of Nero, you will receive a box with a 32-bit activation code printed on the back.

To activate your product, please follow the instructions at

NOTE: The activation code can only be used once; after activation, the product is activated to your logged-in account and the activation code is no longer usable.
