Microsoft distributes special “N” editions of Windows in Europe. These are the same as the standard editions of Windows, except they don’t include Windows Media Player and other multimedia playback features.

Compatibility with Nero products can be improved by downloading and installing the "Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10" from Microsoft

Without the Media Feature Pack the majority of video use cases doesn't work (Nero Video, Nero Recode, Nero MediaHome). Use cases related to data, music and photo should work properly in most of the cases (Nero Burning ROM, Nero Express, Nero BackItUp, Nero RescueAgent, Nero TuneItUp, Nero SoundTrax, Nero WaveEditor, Nero CoverDesigner, Nero DuplicateManager, Nero Disc to device, Nero KnowHow PLUS).
